TINY JUKEBOX
THE GLITTER WALL
You're ready! Jar controls unlock after connecting. You can make artwork without connecting anything. If the jar doesn't appear, check power, try another USB data cable, and close other apps using the jar.
LIGHTS + CONTROL
SCENE CONTROL
Brightness is limited to the tested 50% ceiling. Pattern selections and slider changes apply live; Save keeps your scene on the jar.
No scene received yet.
GAMEPAD INPUT
Nine touch pads: Up/Down/Left/Right, A/B, L/R and Start. L lowers brightness and R raises it in 5% steps (firmware 0.18.6+). Start reports a button press; mode selection is not implemented yet. Hover or focus a button for its GPIO assignment.
Live readings start when the jar connects. Controls stay disabled until your jar advertises them.
HAPPY JARZ MINI
Connect your HAPPY JARZ to get started.
Battery —
Buttons use the jar's normal input path. A selects; B goes back. Extra keys only activate when advertised by the board.
Host controls off
Keyboard: arrows, Z=A, X=B, A=X, S=Y, Q=L, W=R, Enter=START, Shift=SELECT. Host input works only on this tab while the page is focused, and pauses while typing.
THIS JAR IS YOURS
Connect a jar to identify its profile.
Profiles are saved on the jar.
Name: up to 32 UTF-8 bytes. Birthday is optional; no birth year is needed. Saving profile only leaves the clock unchanged. Name and birthday stay on the jar and are redacted from support logs. This browser does not keep a separate profile database.
YOUR DAY IS COMING
Add a birthday to start the countdown.
No profile reading yet.
No clock reading yet.
On your birthday, the jar celebrates all day with OLED animations and gentle light changes. The greeting follows its local date. February 29 birthdays celebrate on March 1 in non-leap years.
The saved birthday countdown appears briefly at startup or when the accessory power switch wakes the screen, when the jar clock is set. Full power loss may need another clock sync. Current firmware supports the four US zones listed and UTC; more regions need a firmware update.
TWO FRAMES. ENDLESS LITTLE IDEAS.
Draw on the 128 × 64 canvas. Two frames animate on the jar. You can keep up to 50 pictures there.
Sending replaces only the selected slot. Your drawing is saved automatically in this browser and survives closing or reloading this tab. Download a backup to move it to another PC.
Artwork saves automatically in this browser.
THE JAR'S NETWORK
Not scanned yet.
No reading yet.
Use a password-protected 2.4 GHz network. Credentials are saved on the jar and redacted from logs. Scanning can interrupt a connection attempt. Open networks and captive-portal sign-in are not supported by this setup.
RIGHT TIME. RIGHT DAY.
Clock —
USB sync needs no Wi-Fi. Internet sync needs the jar connected to Wi-Fi; read the clock afterward to check it. The board currently supports these four US zones and UTC. Full power loss may require another sync. Birthday celebrations and alarms use the jar's local date and time.
A LITTLE REMINDER
Alarm —
Uses the jar's local clock. Set the clock before enabling an alarm.
LIGHTS OUT, ON YOUR TERMS
Timer —
1 minute to 7 days. Remaining time is a board reading; refresh to update it.
Schedule —
TINY SCREEN. BIG PERSONALITY.
No screen received yet.
Display —
Screensaver —
OLED brightness is fixed at 100%. The board controls idle timing. ART rotates your saved drawings; two-frame pictures animate. Add pictures in the Art tab.
SIX PADS. ALL YOURS.
Up / Down / Left / Right / A / B. A selects; B goes back; hold physical B to return home.
Input mode —
No board press reported this session.
Waiting for touch readings.
No calibration reading yet.
Readings are raw touch values, not button presses. Recalibration requires fingers off every pad. Use the Lights + Control console for keyboard/gamepad input; Service records test results.
WORDS FOR THE LITTLE SCREEN
CUSTOM falls back to built-in sayings when no custom messages are saved. Each slot accepts 96 UTF-8 bytes. Names and messages are redacted from diagnostic exports.
Load your messages before editing.
SERVICE + SUPPORT
Read the jar, run a test, then download a support report. It includes timestamped errors, USB/browser details, recent readouts and test results. Nothing is sent automatically.
RGB briefly changes the lamps. Calibration resets touch baselines: keep fingers off every pad. A firmware PASS means the routine completed; confirm the physical result below.
No power reading yet.
Battery percentage is estimated from voltage. Charging/full is shown by the charger’s hardware LED; current firmware does not measure it. USB DATA means the board reports USB data presence, not a charging measurement.
Passwords, profile names/birthdays and Wi-Fi network/IP fields are removed from logs. Board ID and your written notes are included in reports. Logs are stored locally when the browser allows it; older entries are dropped at the displayed limit.
